Any good manager will tell you that watching trends is important. You can identify and correct problem areas before they become real problems. You can also recognize positive trends and learn from them. By viewing the Trend Report, you'll also know whether you're making any progress or not. This report shows exactly how you rank over time for each keyword and engine. Green arrows indicate improvements in rank from the previous period, while red arrows show declining rank.

Newbie Description

This report will allow you to visually spot trends (both good and bad) on specific engines and keywords. Using this data you can spot pages that are falling and update them with fresh content to try to stop that trend. You can also see trends about how different changes effect different serach engines.

Sample Micro Report

This report is for one specific keyword that's listed in AltaVista. It shows the keyword over time and the rises and falls. This of course is a good trend report. We would advise making no changes to this particular keyword.
